Aimgresny PC gamer will tell you that Steam is awesome. Having a huge storefront to get access to tons of games is really awesome. However, as a pretty avid Steam user I’m finding more and more problems creeping into the store and system overall. Here is a lost of things Steam needs to start working on so it will suck a lot less.

World of Warcraft consumed a huge portion of my life, Star Wars Galaxies, Star Wars the Old Republic, Guild Wars 2… you name it, I’ve probably played it. One of the newcomers to the MMO world is Wildstar. Starting today (May 8th) there is an open beta running now until May 18th.

imagesState of Decay has always been one of my favorite games. Zombie horror is a pretty huge genre right now, so having one that stands out is a pretty big deal. This game combines the classic survive the zombies game with a builder as well as a survivor. Despite being a little glitchy on PC, it was a blast to play. The first expansion, Breakdown added an endless survival mode that was really my only major gameplay complaint (the story is great but short). Their latest upcoming edition, Lifeline looks like it’s going to be even more awesome. (more…)

Despite having zero time to do anything anymore, I’m going to try to make a more concerted effort not only to play games, but to talk about it. So prepare for some blog posts from yours truly.

 

First and foremost, we’ve started a Nerd Palace steam group. You can find the  group here http://steamcommunity.com/groups/nerdpalace. It’s open for anyone to join so I encourage you to hop in if you’re a NP associate. Right now most of us on there are pretty into Borderlands 2 and I know I’m always looking for more people to play with. I hope to see you in there.
